In what is being "DUBBED" a huge success, the 1st annual WaterWerks show has come and gone. We would like to thank all the event organizers, vendors, and most of all, participants and attendees for making this years event the best possible answer to your European Car Show desires. The plan is to take all the feedback (positive and negative) to create an even better show next year.

Check back here soon for our pics from the show, and frequently throughout the year for any details which may develop regarding the show.

With only 2 days to go, a few words from the WaterWerks organizers courtesy of Vwvortex.com:

"Months of planning and hard work, with countless hours on the phone and computer, have led us to this point. Our staff, friends, and families that have aided and supported us while building this show have our endless gratitude.

We want to thank our sponsors. All of them! First for their support and next for their faith in us and this project, finally and most importantly, for their belief in you, the enthusiast community. Without each and every one of you and your devotion, not only to the brands under the VAG umbrella, but to the life associated with ownership. This community would not exist. Support among each other and respect for each other’s appreciation of their vehicles separate this community from all other brand enthusiasts.

Finally I want to say thank you to Chris from Fine Tuning, and Bill from Achtuning. From the minute Waterwagens was cancelled, both immediately brought their resources to do whatever was necessary to ensure another show of this caliber was going to happen for all of you to enjoy. They bring this support and integrity to all of you every day.
Last is Meister gauge Faces. Without them this would not have happened. Thank you!

Expected highlights:

Look for the Lamborghini Gallardo, an Audi R8, a Porsche GT3 Cup Car, and a few other supercars.

The Dockyard Derby Dames women’s roller derby tem will be on hand to take pictures with your cars and to hand out the trophies. (be sure to get souvenirs at their booth)

Don’t miss your favorite, or not, vortex personality getting soaked in the pitchburst.

Watch for show specials from all the hottest shops and manufacturers on services and upgrades.

Don’t miss the music; from Fred Hopkins with classic rock, to Can-U’s family friendly hip hop, to the upcoming modern rock band Counterfist.

Two words: Cold Spam

Anyone know how to change a sparkplug? Maybe you will step up.

Don’t forget to root for your favorite on the dyno.

The autocross is new and unique but sure to provide some action and excitement!

The menus:
Tortilla Junction – will be featuring burritos, tacos, nachos, etc. Moisteners there are - Corona, Pacifico, Negra Modelo, Bud, Bud Light

The Sausage Shack - featuring brats, polish dogs w/ peppers and onions, mountain dogs (1/2 lb. hot dog), etc. Serving - Widmer Hefewiezen, Widmer Drop Top (amber ale), Bud, Bud Light. Also a specialty rib plate and a chicken plate out of this stand as well.

The two separate beer stands will feature Red Hook ESB, Red Hook Blonde, Shock Top (Belgian White), Beach Bum (blonde).

Please note this is first and foremost a family place and sodas are available at the food locations, but more important, the children are welcome everywhere. (Except the racing pit area)

Event Information:

Registration: Cut off date for pre registration is July 31st. When reregistering for any event or product on this website, please print your receipt after the checkout process and bring it to the show for confirmation.

Car Show: Judged water-cooled VW/Audi only. If you would like to register two vehicles, you must complete the checkout process twice. Support vehicles will be allowed the night before until 11pm & until 10am day of show. Support vehicles can register to be in the Show 'N Shine if they would like to be a support vehicle after the 10am deadline. Support vehicles must be in the show'n'shine area by 11am. If non-show'n'shine support vehicle are not moved by 9am, the vehicle will be towed at the owners expense.

Show N Shine: The Show'n Shine is non-judged area. All European cars are welcome. Support vehicles are welcome to register in show'n'shine, rules are listed in the Registration section above.

Auto-X: You must fill out a release form before you enter the track. Please download and fill out the forms before you arrive at the show.

Dyno: The dyno is 2wd dyno. This includes air/fuel hook up. There are only 16 spots for the Dyno. Once those spots are filled, there the option will be removed from the web site, so sign up early. If your looking to just get numbers or want to have the most horsepower pull at the show, you should sign up either way.

Swap Space: The swap space will be approximately 10' x 10'. You can set up swap spaces the night before the show from 8 -11pm. You will get a premium spot if you arrive the night before. First come first serve. Any cars left at the show will be towed at the owners expense. Swap items that are left at the show will be discarded and/or considered property of WaterWërks, so please clean up your area after the show. If you have engines or oily parts please bring a drop cloth to keep any oil from marking the parking lot.

T-Shirts: T-Shirts are offered here at a discounted rate. Show prices will be $20. So order yours now to get one reserved and at a discounted rate. There is a limited quantity. (please bring your paypal receipt when picking up your shirt at the show or you will not receive one)
